Management

Dan Mac Gillivray, General Manager, has been employed at the plant since 1998. Dan has his Business Degree from St. FX., and a Food Service Technology Diploma from NSIT. Prior to working at the plant, he worked in the foodservice industry for 10 years. In 1998, Dan started on the road as a sales representative. In 2002, he became more involved in the financial planning and overall management of the company as it expanded in 2002. Currently he works at providing the business with the skills needed to operate in the highly competitive and changing meat industry.

Stephen MacIntosh, Operations Manager, has been an employee of Antigonish Abattoir Ltd. since 1987. As the company grew, Stephen's position grew in the organization. He manages the various processing departments in the plant. Stephen's long-term commitment to the plant enables plant operations to run at its full potential.

Aaron Tingley, Sales Manager, joined Tony's Meats in 2000. Aaron also has his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from St.F.X. University. His excellent customer relations along with his education and experience in the meat industry provide Tony's Meats with excellent representation in Atlantic Canada. Aaron's main duties include the management and growth of sales to major retail chains, Major Foodservice distributors as well as a number of independent accounts across the Maritimes.

Theresa Gough, HACCP Coordinator/Quality Control, started with Tony's in January 2007. She has been working in the industry for 7 years and is a graduate of Nova Scotia Agricultural College, she uses a combination of work experience and education to ensure that our products are both safe and of the highest quality.

Suzette Morell and Bernadette Brown, Office management, currently oversee the daily office operations of the business. This entails numerous duties including accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, purchasing and sales. Their combined experience enables the company to run smoothly on a daily basis.

Doug MacEachern, Production Manager, has been a long-standing employee with Tony's Meats. His current role allows him to utilize his experience and ability to manage people to maximize production and get our products out to market in an efficient and timely manner.
